I'm looking to upgrade my pc speaker setup and I'm having trouble deciding between these two systems.
I'll be upgrading from an elderly creative analog 5.1 system, my existing soundcard is an Audigy 2 ZS but I'm considering one of the newer x-fi cards also. I'm mainly a gamer and an occasional movie watcher.
I'm led to understand that the z5500's are an improvement on the z680's but I have to wonder how much. I can get the z680's for around £70 less than the z5500's so what I really want to know is if the difference is big enough to justify the z5500's higher price?
