What do you guys think of these speakers? a lot reviews ive read rate them highly and also a few friends rate them.

But after reading the "My New Z5500 faulty?" a lot of people said they've had a lot of trouble with them? But yet other people on here seem to really rate them, so it would be good to have an overall, yes get them, or no dont, kind of thread.

Discuss Please :)

Hi mate,

Mine were faulty as you know(You've read my thread).

I don't know if I just got a set froma dodgy batch but I did read tonnes of reviews raving about them.

If your going to get them be prepared - they are a massive set of speakers!

The latest batches are great. Logitech sent me a replacement for free and I didn't even have to send anything back. It only took 5 days to get my replacements.

I recieved mine on Thursday and they are still in the box waiting to be installed into my new computer room, i just hope i don't get any of the problems some people have had to deal with.
They seem pretty well made and i have not seen a bad review on them with regards to sound quality for a set of PC speakers. One thing i am a little dissapointed in is there seems to be no swivel adjustment on the satelites if you wall mount them and the lead between the sub and control center could be a little longer.

Looking more and more like a yes then :D which im pleased about tbh because they really look a very sexy set of speakers :D

I had a set and loved them...however after a few months the control console died out on me.

I sent the console back to logitech and they sent me a whole new system!

This one had a console that was DOA!!!! So then they sent me another one which worked fine.

So now back in America I have 2 non functioning sets and a 3rd functioning one....when I go back in 5 years I'll have to figure out how to have them all hooked up at the same time (non functioning sets only require a signal...the amp and speakers/sub work fine)

When I got my replacement, I tested out my old Control pod on my new set, and same as a number of other people, powered on ok, but no sound.... Had to send my old set back because my dad wouldent shut is mouth and he mentioned poping/cracking, after that they went though RMA for poping/crackling problem and I had to send the other set back
