z68x-ud4-b3 Mobo Bios Problem

Help man down!


Just updated my bios to the latest version for this board (yep it was for this board).

All seemed to go welll using the @BIOS utility in windows. Asked for a reboot which i Ok'd and now im stuck in a boot loop which will not let me into the bios.

Am I knackered here or is there some kind of magic i can work to restore said bios

Solved it myself.

To recover the bios on this board you press and hold the power button (turn on pc) it will then after a few seconds turn off. Press the power on button again and it will start the bios copy from backup.

Phew got a sweat on there. No more beta bios for me lol

The whole cold boot and restart loop deal is a common issue with Gigabyte boards lately, across a whole range of different models. They are trying to fix it.

they have fixed it with latest bios's,you need to press and hold alt and f12 at splash screen to flash both bios chips with the newest bios version
