Ive read loads of threads regarding issues with not been able to overclock, either by using the multiplier or other means.
I just updated my BIOS from F6 to UEFI from the file on Gigabyte homepage, flashed etc, etc.I then attempted to up the clock on my i5 2500K with little effect(couldnt up the multiplier or change clock speed manually).
I did some fishing about(about 2hrs) and I found a post from someone who had same board and chip.He was getting fed up with the Uefi and was close to reverting back to F6/F7? until someone got back to him saying he was having same ****,and that he contacted G/byte who told him all you have to do to up clock etc is use--page up/page down--keys.I give it a whirl and all is good.
I too wasnt far from reverting back using""efi2awd"".
hope this helps others.Im not sure if this problem was solved a while back.

OOHHH!!
slight problem,Ive upped clock to 40 saved n quit.Went into windows experience and it says processor -i5 2500k blah blah-3.30Ghz-5.90Ghz
CPU-Z says the same in multiplier box-x(16-59)
went back into BIOS it says clocks are indeed x40 that i set.?? WTF,,IDK
One last thing my vcore on F6 was auto at around 1.345,,UEFI are auto at 1.250.((bouns))
ive since gone back to stock until i find an explanation about the 5.9 ****?

Heads up on last post-
I load optimized defaualts
Then instead of changing clock ratio,I just up speed on each core.auto is core 1-37/2-36/3-35/4-34
put core 1-40 2-39 3-38 4-37---CPU-Z and win exp show 4.0ghz,,temps and vcore all good.
