Over the past few months I've been putting a new system together for myself.
Asrock Z77 Extreem6 with 3570K and 4x 4gb DDR3.
I've spent about 6 weeks on this cold boot problem because as you can imagine you get one stab at it every day !
I virtually have a handle on it now but was wondering if anybody has worked out why I would need a lot more voltage on the CPU when it's cold (first 2 mins)
I'm wondering if the revised transistor design on Ivy bridge has anything to do with it ?
Be interested to hear intelligent thoughts
Cheers
