I bought the Z77 Kypton bundle from you earlier this month and have only just got round to building the system (Christmas present).

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...-001-GI&tool=3

Having spent several careful hours putting the system together I now find myself stuck the machine will simply not boot, it gets stuck in a loop and will not even POST, they drives start to spin up but then it reboots and it goes again.I get no output on the screen.

I am currently running this bundle without any expansion cards and using the onboard video, I have tried running the board outside of the case to ensure there are no shorts and I still get the same issue. I have tried with 2xRAM, 1xRAM and no RAM and I get the same results not even a POST BEEP.

PSU is an XFX 650W (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-003-XF&tool=3)

I have double and triple checked both power connectors and they are securely attached.

Any Ideas really stuck in a rut with it and would the new pc up and running for Christmas

Cheers
Az

Yup I am thinking the same, noticed that quite a few people are having issues with this bundle...and the root cause appears to be the Z77-D3H....the one supplied to me was a rev 1.0 (only 1 4pin 12v socket) the 1.1 has a 8pin arrangement.

A friend of mine bought the same motherboard as part of a build and received the version 1.1, along with the same CPU as myself and his build boots and works perfectly.

This only leaves me with a couple of options.....

Bundle was DOA
Memory isnt 100% compatible (the one supplied isn't on the QVL list)
It was supplied to me untested as it seems to be a common fault...

Others with same issue:

Sadly still the same issue.....due to the volume of faults with this bundle it's becoming clear that my bundle along with others wasn't fully tested before shipping

Glad to see it's not only me having problems with this bundle I was having the same problem as the op but it seemed to go away for a while but now my system only boots around 1/20 times. Can someone from oc put a reply in here explaining what we should do to resolve this ?

From a phone call this morning I think it might be the bottom bracket on the Cooler that I need to invert, one side is plastic coated the other isnt and this could be causing the short.

I am at work today but will be trying it this afto and will report back on its success.

I'm getting the same problem - PC briefly starts, but then (less than a second it stays on - if you blink you'd miss it) powers off.

So should I try the mounting bracket - it says to invert it (writing side up). Not checked whether its plastic on, just went with what the instructions said. Have emailed overclockers about it, but since its Xmas not many people are going to be online to answer :-)

My bundle purchase:

Krypton Z77 680i" Intel Core i7 3770K 3.50GHz @ 4.50GHz DDR3 Ivybridge Overclocked Bundle

I have also bought a HAF X case, and Corsair AX850w platinum rating from here. Checked all cables numerous times, bit disappointing to be honest.

If its the Zero Infinity fan then make sure the plastic side of the bracket is touching the board, swapped mine and it worked instantly

Got mine to boot into Windows, but the overclock is not stable. Changed back to default clock speed and voltage. Stable at 4.0 on 1.25v, down from 1.35v. Spoken to Overclockers and they've asked me to send it back to them to resolve.

Now getting random problem with the power working - it's happened twice. Wouldn't power on last night, tried again this morning and it worked. First time it happened I went through all the case checking power leads, nothing wrong. Powered on then a few hours later.

Weird one - at least I can get onto windows most of the time. Thanks for the help.

What a relief to find the answer to why it didn't boot. Flipping it over did the trick. Let me install Win 8 but didn't reboot. Doesn't like my DVI monitor using on-board graphics (old monitor on VGA was fine!). Going to put the AMD card in next...
