Hi all,

As above Im reading that there is a few motherboard outhere that run in sli and cf at x16 like the Asus z77 ws and Asrock z77 ws and Asus z77 premium

Does the Gigabyte G1 sniper and GA-Z77X-UP7 run at 16 or is there any others that do?

There are none.
Ivy bridge, like sandybridge, only has one 16x lane for graphics, it gets split into 2 8x lanes for sli/crossfire

If you want 16x/16x you need a 2011 chip.

The z77 boards that have '16x/16x' use a plx chip that allows for increased bandwidth between the card and that chip. Instruction/data /w/e has to flow through this separate chip which introduces latency and the bandwidth between chip and cpu is the same anyway. It's marketing guff.

Don't even bother going for 2 X16 ports. All current gfx cards don't even saturate x8 lanes let alone x16. You'd gain a big fat zero getting 2 x16 over 2 x8.
