Really? Im using that RST. If I stopped/disables the AI Suite II from starting would this effect anything?
As per a post on the Asus forums, I have been into the startup and deleted the I-setup thread that was causing the error message and the message has now gone... BUT when the PC starts, it seems to take a while longer (10/15 secs) to have everything in the bottom right side of the tray load up fully.... Great what have I ****ed up? lol. Never easy is it!
"Instead of hacking at the registry, you can delete this app from Task Scheduler:
From the start menu search for "Task Scheduler" and open it
Under the Active Tasks section of Task Scheduler (Local), look for tasks that begin with "i-setup" and are triggered at log on of any user and delete them"
Hmmm cant remember the exact message but I ran CCleaner and the next time I rebooted I got a popup box saying it couldnt find a temp file from the Asus AI Suite II. Im guessing CCleaner got rid and caused this popup message. I ended up finding the solution on the Asus forums... BUT it caused a major slowdown on windows finishing loading... prolly AI Suite II related. I have since got round this issue by installing TuneUp Utilities 2013 (I have owned the 2012 version and found it really VERY good). My PC seems blazingly fast now, very snappy.
