z77 sabertooth and Savage 2400MHz problem

hi guys i got so new ram today but when i put it in my board i woul only run 1600 not the 2400 when reading the manual it say only 1866 is that true.

What CPU do you have dude?

also have you set the XMP profile or manually set the timings and voltage?

ok mate, i've had that mobo before with kingston hyperx beast 2400 and that worked fine for me using XMP...

i know with sandy bridge they only went up to 2133 as i emailed kingston and they gave me that reply
