Just bought a new Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H

Have just been looking at the driver section on the Gigabyte website.

1. Under Chipset, what is Intel Management Engine Interface?

2. I see at least 4 different sata drivers which I could potentially use during install of the os. Is it Marvell or Intel?

3. USB 3 also has two different drivers

its because there is a marvel chip and a intel (z77) sata on the motherboard
same with the usb (VIA chip and intel z77)

as for Intel Management Engine Interface?

Provides thermal management for Intel® Desktop Boards. The Intel® Management Engine Interface (Intel® ME Interface) is the interface between the Intel® Management Engine firmware and the host. Drivers and applications on the host that wish to interact with Intel® Management Engine through host interface would use the Intel® ME Interface host windows driver.

yeah i didnt understand that eaither just instal it :P

Ok so I have to install all the drivers?

But when Im installing the os, which driver am I going to need for the sata?

Will it depend on which port the ssd is plug in to?

I got the Z77x-UDH3 and when i was trying to install Windows 7 from my memory stick it was asking for a CDROM/DVD driver i presumed it was the sata drivers but it wasnt and wouldnt allow me to install Windows. Turned out the USB pen drive with Windows 7 on has to be plugged into a USB 2 port rather than a USB 3 port

Did you install all the drivers from the website?

How do I know which AHCI driver to give it when there are two?
