Z87 4670k - What memory

Asus Z87 Board with a 4670k. Will be folding and doing uni work and a bit of gaming, 8gb be enough? Any advice on if getting some faster stuff will really be noticeable? What brands are running well at the min? I presume I want 4 matched modules to make most of board? 4x2GB?

8GB will be enough
Haswell likes and can use fast RAM, so the faster the better. See my sig as to what i use.
No advantage for using all slots so 2x4GB is what most people use.
