Z87oc gigabyte - 8 pin and 4 pin cpu.. Do I need to use 4 pin?

Just noticed that this board I'm getting has 2 cpu connections I have never seen this and was surprised by it Tbh
Aren't these chips meant to be lower tdp than x58?

Do I need to use the additional 4 pin?
