Hi Guys,

been away for a couple of days and left my PC running whilst away. It is always on 24/7. But something has happened while I have been away, because I couldn't get it to wake up and despite trying to restart it several times, it just gets stuck at the very early stages of Win 8.1 start up.
The mobo is 2 days away from being 12 months old. I also bought a brand new 4770K and RM650 at the same time last year.
I don't understand what's going on here at all. I have cleared the CMOS but still nothing.

Any ideas please?

I have made some progress with this now. I disconnected everything except GFX, and boot SSD and PC booted fine.
Connected all USB stuff one at a time and still fine.
Started to try and add in HDD's 1 at a time, but the first one 1 added caused the problem to re-occur. I get a steady beeping/ticking sound when I connect this drive (doesnt happen with any other drive, and not sure where the sound is coming from).
So I disconnected and rebooted with SSD only and everything is fine.
I started to add the other HDD's 1 at a time in isolation. Each one in isolation allowed th PC to boot. But none of them showed up in My PC, as if they were not connected.
So I took the power cable from the HDDs and tried that with the SSD and the PC booted up OK. So not Power it seems.
There is something wrong with the HDDs. I also get an AO debug code on the mobo which means IDE initialisation started. But this is the point the boot up gets stuck.
So not sure if its IDE on the mobo, or HDD failure.
Any ideas?

Hi Hotplate . . .have just read your thread. What was the problem??
Also, would you have a look at my post earlier today and let me know your experience with the USB ports on this board
Cheers
