OK, bit of background.
I bought my 7950 back when I had my 1055T chip. Seemed to work fine. Then got a 8350, seemed to work fine.
Then I build basically a new PC using a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC motherboard and 4770K CPU. I re-used the 7950.
Running Heaven 4 using the setting in the benchmark thread my scores varied between 650-750 (ish). This was annoying.

I then bought a couple more 7950s when they were on offer. I wasn't going to use them in this machine, but since they were basically the same card I decided to test them in the machine, replacing the existing 7950 one at a time.
The Heaven scores were much lower than the other 7950. Just at the start the first 10 seconds or so, usually run at around 20fps. These cards were running at 5-10fps. I've since put them in the other machine and they seem to run fine, so I don't think it's the cards.

I've now put a GTX 670 in the machine instead of the 7950 (uninstalled drivers etc.) with the intention of going SLI. However, I'm once again getting issues. The starting sequence of Heaven 4 is again running at around 9fps.

I've tried re-installing all the motherboard chipset drivers but it hasn't seemed to help.

I'm not even sure if it's a motherboard or graphics card issue. The number of graphics cards I've tried is making me think it can't be them.

Any ideas?
