So I built my new pc today and here are my parts

RTX 3080TI

Z690 AORUS ELITE AX

DOMINATOR CORSAIR 32GB DDR5

I9 12900KF



So I went to boot up my PC and I am not getting a post at all, the red lights at the bottom are switching between Dram and CPU constantly, I have tried re sitting the cpu in the motherboard and I have tried switching the ram sticks but still nothing it just cycles between DRAM and CPU red lights and doesn't post

I have seen a few posts of Z690 boards not posting without both cpu power plugs fitted so do you have both the 8 pin and 4 pins EPS leads connected (it shouldn't make a difference unless heavily overclocking but there have been problems)? Try booting with a single stick of memory fitted in slot 2. If it boots update the bios (latest is F7c for your board) as there have been many fixes for memory compatibility. It may be worth removing the cpu and carefully checking the pins in the motherboard socket to ensure that none have been accidentally damaged. With power hungry components such as yours I would hope that you have a quality psu of at least 850w?
