I didn't know these existed until I was stuck behind one today.

Am I missing something... I was left wondering "what is the point?":D

Would anyone actually consider getting one if they were sprogged up and wanted something "sporty" when going solo? I'd be scared of rolling the thing while giving it some beans ;)

Never understood these either. Why not just buy a cheap sporty car like a MR2 or anything else really!

I'd have thought it'd make more sense to get a slightly cheaper MPV and pocket the change to get something like an MX5 + insurance for fun - perhaps that's what was meant :)

Running two cars is never as cheap as running one. Two lots of insurance, two lots of maintenance, etc etc etc

The hassle of two cars over one, if you just want you're daily commute (plus the ability to carry a family), negates the point of having two cars.

Quite why people don't get fast estate cars over MPV's is another thing entirely.

Like the S-Max (With 2.5T engine) I guess its aimed at people who have a family and need an MPV of some sort but dont want to sacrifice having some kind of performance.

Ya think:p

They are actually a very accomplished car, and go pretty well, theres one by me that always gives me a run for my money:eek:

well, that's not exactly difficult to achieve now is it? :p

Oh really?

Incredibly - no, scrub that - shockingly, that car has a Vauxhall badge on its nose. The Vectra VXR is splitting the two hardest, most outrageous rally wannabes right down the middle. And despite significant horsepower advantages, not to mention the benefit of two extra driven wheels each, there's nothing they can do about it.

Frankly, I'm staggered at the Vectra's sheer ground-covering ability. The roads are dry, which levels the playing field, but even so, none of us would have expected the VXR to live with the final car of this foursome, BMW's superb 330i M Sport, let alone get stuck into the rally reps.

My mate has fitted a bigger turbo and dump valve to his. :D
He's done quite a lot of work to it actually.
It's cracks me up, you hear this engine roar, look round, theres a zafira with a dump valve bombing it down the road.
