Cooler should be more than adequate since it was used to tame Fermi.

It would never end up in my system though, too much red white and blue!:p

Well I have to disagree with a lot of stuff posted here. I totally agree on the colour scheme, it's hideous. However, having used one of those coolers on medium (right at the point the rest of the system fans drown it out, and those are 120mm Noctuas) and seen my 470 never go over 63c in Furmark benchmarks?

Amazing cooler. There is a reason the Zotac Amp ! cards were so good (the 470 and 480) and it's because they sported one of those coolers.

Now I am hoping they make one for my 7970 and don't charge £55 for it. Because if they do I will be all over it.

After market cooler on a cheapo, non reference PCB. Also looks like it's one of those ridiculous 3 slot high cards.

Eugh.

Agree it looks pants.:p

But IMO that is the best 480 cooler bar none.

If it cools that "beast" of a chip, a nice naturally cool running 28nm job will be super chilly.

Ignoring how hideous the entire setup looks like I am very concerned about the apparant lack of VRM cooling on this card. Perhaps this is ok on a HD7950 but if this was released as a cooler for the HD79xx it would have to come with some decent heatsinks otherwise the VRM would cook.
