I have had water cooling of my cpu for the past year but never bothered with a gpu block for some unknown reason. I was getting crashing in games and had noticed the gfx card temps of 70+ on load so i cleaned the cooler off and applied AS5 to it, sine then its been fine with lower load and idle temps.
Anyway I decided to purchase the zalman gpu cooler just for the hell of it tbh. Installation was fairly easy, only a few snags as the barbs are so small on it which had me worried for a sec, but with some small jubilee clips it was a nice tight seal on them. So i added some new tubing and tested the system for leaks, I found none and booted the pc up.
Temps are very impressive imo, 30 deg idle and about 36 load in WOW, the block is also cool to touch were as the cooler used to feel red hot.
All in all im very impressed with this cheep alloy block with its small barbs lol.
