Zalman cnps10x Extreme

Just got this today and i am well happy with it got the cpu at 3.8ghz and ran prime95 for 2 hrs and the max it hit on full load 47c/50/

nice1, ive always like the zalman coolers, the cnps10x isnt the prettyiest tho. how much noise you making?

ive recently modded my cnps9500 with an alternaitive pwm fan but at the cost of losing the pretty green leds, which i found had a great purpose as you can see really easily how much dust was in the fins!

Then noise is good got fan on 75% and can't hear it over my case fans so well happy done another test on prime to day and temps down 43/45

The cooler itself is great, although the fan gets noisy over 75% (1600rpm). There are cases in which it would be quieter at higher speed than case fans but if you prefer silence, leave it at 1600rpm or less. I've got mine set at 1300rpm and it's basically silent. Doesn't really get my CPU get hotter than 48*C under load when gaming.

its a sweet cooler, so glad i got it.was going to get a h50 but glad i got this
