Zalman CNPS9500A swiveling?

I have a Zalman CNPS9500A CPU cooler on a LGA775 CPU, I've fitted it as instructed, however the cooler seems to rotate/swivel on top of the cpu by a fair bit!

Is this normal and will it damage the cpu in any way?

Yes its normal. I recently put one on too and at the time done a lot of reading up on the product as i had issues with fitting it and in all the posts people were worried about the movement and got replies that it was perfectly normal. As long as the movement isnt away from the cpu, just side to side. Though dont forget it only moves if you touch it, once its on your case it wont move.
 
I've just given it 30 minutes sitting without me touching it and it seems to have firmed up a bit! At least the initial movement wasn't causing any harm :)
