Zalman cooler

heres some more info on it: http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2585

*edit*
having a look at that myself, it doesnt seem too bad, but theres so many heatsinks that they reviewed that its hard to know if anything is better

what case are you planning to fit the cooler in, and what is your budget?
(you see large improvements going up to the ~£25 mark, then improvements start to slow)

Would have thought a 120mm fan based heatsink would be better than this 92mm one. Besides the zalman is showing as out of stock.

The case in an Antec Df30, Don't really have a budget atm. nothing too expensive though. :P
My ram has fins on it. (Blue g.skill). Noise doesn't bother, so lnog as its not really loud.
Thanks for the link, I'll read it now.

Interesting read. I had a browse through some of the other heatsinks too. So hard to decide.
My i5 sits about 34-36 on idle, but my room does get quite hot, and I haven't tested it on laod yet properly. I'm only using bays 2,4 for my ram atm too. But I'd like a cooler than will keep bay 1 free in case I ever decide I want/need 16gb :p

I was thinking the same as everyone else would prefer a cooler were I can change the fan
on it for another 120mm fan if I wanted to.
