Zalman Knossos

So I've had this mouse for a year and a half or so. Some time ago I noticed the metallic surfaces wearing away it's top coating and residue appearing, this is what it looks like:

(that's no shimmer effect)

You can see where I have scratched one around, any ideas if this should be a concern? It seems pretty unusual.

I've had a look online and found nothing, just want an opinion before I contact Zalman

In the first picture it looks as though someone had been scratching/scraping the coating off ?....just put it in the bin...and get a proper mouse

Yeah, it's not how it arrived, was normal metal like you can see where its scratched

other than that the mouse is fine, idk what you define as 'proper' lol

Well I got myself an EC1-A Zowie £35 on offer....best mouse I have ever used

Looks good but 4 side buttons is useful!
