Zalman NB on A8N-SLi w/X1900XTX

I've seen the threads about people getting the Zalman NB sink on the A8N-SLi, but all the posts seem to be with Nvidia cards.

Just wondered if anyone has one of these as a hsf replacement, next to the new ATi cards - I've got an X1900XTX with the Zalman 900 on it. The nb hsf has turned into a whiney little b****, so needs replacing.

It's in an Akasa Eclipse, and has real good airflow, so not worried about temps etc, just need to get it quiet. Also the mobo is the std A8N-SLi, not deluxe or premium or any of those.

Don't particularly want to start bending pins

Np, got it fitted perfectly.

FYI, with the stock X1900XTX cooler, it would be a difficult fit, probably have to angle it quite badly. With the VF900 it fits perfectly, just rubs up to the sink on the end of the X1900 card.

Also put a Ninja plus in my PC, and now it's pretty much 100% silent !!! Very impressed.
