zalman passive heatsink

I just put a zalman passive heatsink on my chipset and the temps started at 29 degrees, then have slowly crept up to 35-36, is this ok? it has an 80mm fan blowing on it at 5v. ambient is 25.

also what to do if it keeps rising, as the heatsink has to be on ok r.e. contact as the pushpins have been used. also using ceramique.

its fine ...

chipset are fine at around 70*C tbh, so yours is definitely fine

i just left mine passive, and its at around 45*C

Silence is golden..

Im on making a pair of SilentMaxx style enclosures for myself, and changing my pumps for dual DDCs then i'll join you in the quiet room
