Review of the new Zalman Reserator, looks brilliant really. Able to cool a conroe at 3.7ghz and added 70mhz to the core speed of the x1900gt even without case fans.

It would probably handle crossfire / SLi without too many problems, considering it cooled the x1900gt to 35c below stock @ load

Woo.... when will it be avaliable?

I was thinking of getting the Reserator 1-Plus in a couple of weeks, might just hold out for the Reserator 2. Not as funky, but it cools better, that's what I need for an E6600 and x1900xt - also, can work as my room radiator come winter :D

I don't think it looks too bad - although maybe not as cool as the tower.

Surprisingly, it cools very well for a passive and low-performance system. Certainly worth looking into.

I think part of the appeal of the original was it's looks, especially in it's original blue! Shame that this looks a bit more functional, I was almost tempted to get a reserator to help quieten down a particularly noisy and hot PC, but opted for a couple more fans and a cable tidy instead. :)

I had the original and looking back I much prefer a lower clocked system which runs completely silent than this higher clocked system with 300£+ worth of watercooling separates..

So next time I upgrade (probably not for ages :o ) then this certainly would be on my shopping list, assuming it's as quiet as the original. Although as has been said it is a shame it looks like the radiator is straight out of the 70s :p

^^ I'd assume so, the reserator is VERY easy to install. I didn't leak test mine when I got it, but applying the same method to custom watercooling was a near disaster  plus there's the yards of plumbing tape... multiple leak tests.. sore fingers after fiddling with small components.. that's how it was for me custom watercooling anyway.

I like the look of that, any thoughts on how it compares to an Asetek kit (other than the noise issue).
