For my Gainward 6800GT GS AGP card.

I like the Artic, purely because it exhausts the hot air out of the case.

But the Zalman looks like it'd be less hassle for me to install.

X1's don't exhaust the air, they area completely different design to the Silencer series.

I went for the Zalman when I had to make that choice, they're easy to fit, very quiet and cool well:)

Have had bad experience with Artic coolers in the past so that kind of swayed me away from them, although I have heard the new Accelero is of a lot better build quality than the older models.

I recently purchased a zalman 900 for my x1800xt and it took about 5 minutes to install. Works great just need to attach it my my fan controller, and it will be perfect.

the x1 is far easier to fit then a zalman vf700

Zalman is only 2 screws... don't see how it could be dificult.

Although I would say get the X1 as they are available for £12.50

Opted to go for the Zalman VF900, for just over £30.

Excellent, you can't go wrong with one of those, just don't turn the 4 screws too tight in case you warp the card. :)
