I am awaiting this aswell. Hopefully Zalman has sorted the 'grunting, burbling' fan problem out in their fans at low RPM.

i read its going to be a few months till we see this, are we talking april/may or further afield, as i know the x800xt isnt outputting loads of heat compared to the latest and greatest, but keeping it cool as possible while quiet is important.

I'm really tempted to guy the VF700 instead of the 900. The fan on me X1900XT is driving me nuts. Apparently these 1900's work fine with a VF700, but I would like the extra cooling available on the VF900. Knowing my luck, I'd buy the 700 and the 900 comes out a coupla days later, lol.

There was a thread last week when someone from OCUK (adwhitworth I think) posted that it would be 1-2 weeks.

vf700 isnt man enough for the X1800XT on low noise, artifacts after 10 mins of q4.

It wasn't fitted right then, VF700 isn't an amazing cooler but it can keep any current card cool enough.

No seriously, i'm hoping the VF900 is a good cooler as we havn't exactly been spoiled in this department since the first Arctic Coolers for 9500/9700/9800's.

sounds like the zalman VF700 did though?
i am right in saying the zalmans are better than the artic coolers now ?
tbh i dont see the point in w/c the card unless you are voltmodding or something.
