Zalman Water Cooled PSU

I have seen these around before, but not from mainstream manufacturers like Zalman.

Can't really see the need considering the best air cooled ones are silent and perform well.

It won't have water flowing through it as such, all they do is attach a copper pipe to all the heatsinks.

i am considerign that zalman water cooler, reserator 1 thingy. methinks it will go nicely with the asaka 62 im ordering, i might will change the fluid to red, to go with everything else. (red psu, 2 red 120mm fans, 2 red 12inch cathodes, adn a red psb for my ati)

I don't really see the point tbh - you can buy passive PSUs at the moment. It largely depends on the wattage though, I suppose.

Also, it just adds further restriction to your loop and extra temp.

saw an aerocool one.

the problem with passive ones is if you wish for a totally fanless system there is a lot of heatdump into your system. however with a watercooled one i think you'd need it on a separate loop due to the heatdump.

Big question is will it come incorperated into a loop? or as a seperate component?

If the latter will it be 1/2" tubing or not?

It'll be interesting to see wether they pass it through Regulations, and i'd definately buy one given a few conditions:

800W+
1/2" tubing

though, with that kinda heat dump, i'd want a .2 or .3 Rad
