Zalman X3 Case with MSI MAG B550M MORTAR Motherboard mATX fit seems odd?

Just built 1st PC, still waiting to snag a GPU, but when building ran into an issue where moba wasn't sitting anywhere near flush to rear IO.

I *think* the GPU can still fit but will have to wait and see.
Anybody see what is wrong?

Hmm. Looks to me like the GPU will still fit fine, but that is a slightly odd bit of work by Zalman at the back of the case there.
