I have had the zalman z11+ case for a while now and the fan noise is quite loud, even on a low setting and not running any programs...its at the point where it can be heard in my mic if i am talking to friends/doing voice overs,

so i was wondering: 1) what are the fans that make the noise 2) is it possible to make them quieter and 3) if 2 is no then what are some good fans that i can replace the loud ones with?

My guess is that its your small intake fans.
Smaller fans = more noise (generally)
I looked at this case for my build but eventually dismissed it due to the amount of noise it could potentially make

are they always loud ? or do they get louder as your system gets hotter ?? also have you got any fan profile software installed as you could maybe control the speed a bit better and reduce the noise, apart from that on the extreme you could replace all your fans with quitter ones that have rubber dampening built in and connect them to a case mounted fan controller and have direct control over there speed ??
