Hello chaps,

So I bought myself a new build recently and went with the newish Zalman Z7, as I liked the look and the price.

Building it tomorrow and was looking for some guidance. Basically I havnt built a new PC for around 5 years, and my cable management skills are tragic to say the least. Was wondering if anyone could provide any tips on how I could arrange the cables etc?I realise it doesnt have the best cable management features. Ideally looking for someone who owns one.

Thanks in advance!

Ok well I guess no one has this case yet. Build went ok but my cable management is crap. Will post pics up tonight.

Cheers

Moving the optical drive down a slot so you can tuck the unused cables away is a good start.
Rotating your HSF 90 degress anti clockwise may also help as the tagan looks like a two fan straight airflow type.

Yeaaa thats me, gave up CSS a while ago now.

Umm regarding the cpu cooler it could either go that way with the fan downwards or with the fan upwards, so I chose downwards. Is that a bad idea? The temps I get are 27c idle and around 46 under an hour of prime95 blender test.

Also, was recommended moving the optical drive down a slot but, wont it look abit wierd from the front :s

Cheers
