Ideally from someone who has this case or similar like the Z9/plus.

I have everything connected and working, apart from the main white fan at the back of the case. Where on earth do I connect it? It's a chunky 4 pin connector and the only things I've tried is plugging it into one of the sockets coming from the PSU (This worked, but it will be on full power the whole time, don't know if that matters..?) and I've tried a 4 to 3pin adapter, and plugged the 3 pin in the mobo, this didn't work at all though.. any ideas?

Also, how do I get the fan controller at the front working? I'm still waiting for my OS to come in the post, so might it be a case of it won't work until I've entered Windows?
There are some loose wires on the other side of the case (couple of molex connections I think), and two little sockets on the end of a small bit of cable (one on each end), what are these for?

One last thing, the case came with one HDD/SSD tray, obviously I can't put both in it. The SSD came with a slightly smaller tray, but I don't know where to put it? I know I can attach it to the other side of of the case (Behind the mobo), but this is where my cable management is all put, so it's extremely awkward. Any recommendations?

Sorry for talking drivel :( If anyone can help, would be much appreciated!

hey there, just got this case myself.........

The rear exhaust fan is to be connected to a psu 4 pin molex connector, and yes it will be on full power all the time, mine is/has been, and all is ok. In my opinion this fan being at full power is quiet enough.

the 2 'little sockets' you described, if i understand correctly are 3 pin fan plugs, and when you have fans connected in them, your fan controller operates them. So if you are using the supplied case fans only, you should connect them to the case cables and not your mobo headers.

will your ssd not screw to the case's ssd tray then go in a 5" front bay? Thats where mine went, i didnt use the tray supplied with my ssd.

Hope this helps some.

Cheers for the reply bud, ended up getting impatient and worked it out myself :p

And I did exactly the same with my SSD. Finding it slightly frustrating moving/installing things to the HDD, but am getting used to it.

Typing from my new build :D

I've the same case and I've moved the fans around. I have 2 of the LED ones on the top of the case pulling air out and removed the white fan altogether and replaced it with the fan that comes attached to the side panel.

The 2 fan on the top are controlled through the fan controller and the once on the back of the case is attached to the motherboard.

When i turn the fan controller right down it's near silent :)

Anyone work out what the 2 molex connectors are for? I've just open mine up today to have a look while I wait for the rest of my parts to arrive, don't know what these are for. Also their is a small cable with a loop at the end, is this an earth cable. Aorr if I sounds daft. It is my first build.

The wires included in the case are all for the front panel (2 USB, power button, led, reset and HDD led) the 2 adaptors are to connect two fans to the controller on the front panel. So you will have 2 fans connected to those then your CPU cooler and 1 other fan connected to your mobo. The last fan (rear exhaust) will be connected to your psu.

The loop you describe is the temperature sensor for the front display so this cable should be placed close to whatever you want to measure.

Also if youre getting an SSD as the op was asking. There is actually a nifty little bracket behind the mobo (open the side of the case) to fit one out of the way.
