Zalman z9U3 Fans and controls

Hi,

Am I missing something, have just got the Z9U3 and am a little confused as to controlling the fans....

Their website says '2-channel fan controller' but am not seeing how you control them.

Has anyone had any experience with this and can fill me in.

You will want to connect the Molex connector to your PSU that is inside your case, and the two female fan connectors into the two fans you wish to control.

There is a dial that looks like a volume wheel, rotate this and it will adjust your fan speeds.

However personally this is a clunky way to control your fans, if you are using a decent motherboard you will be better off using the motherboard header and the fan profile software

or getting a true fan controller like the Lamptron fc6.

Ah - thanks, I saw the 'volume' wheel on the front and assumed it was for headphone volume.....

Will open and do some fiddling!
