ZALMAN ZM NB47J on DFI SLI-DR EXPERT?

How would the ZALMAN ZM NB47J fit on DFI SLI-DR EXPERT? Thinking of buying one, it's so cheap.

Would it provide sufficient cooling? And would it fit without modification? I also have a long gfx, 7800gtx 512mb, it stretches over the fan... But the stock cooler is replaced with wc, so it's a bit slimmer...

It runs about 10 degrees cooler with a silent 92mm fan blowing towards it than the stock cooler.

Looks cool, but is that a sli-dr expert? Looks like another dfi board, I think the expert got more space between the pci-e ports

Ooops mines an Ultra-D, I missed the Expert bit.

Depending on the graphics card you may be able to squeeze it in with an unmodded zalman, or maybe with the top row or two cut off:

I'm looking through the glass now to imagine if it would fit

. Not sure, but I think it would be enough to cut off a row of pins maybe. I'm ordering one tonight anyhow, it's so freakin' cheap

i cut off bout 4 rows to fit mine on my NF4 Infinity... and its fine... hot, but stable at 300mhz + , plus, its quiet

bye the looks of it it will fit just the little heat sink on the end of the gtx will be the problem. here a pic if it help any.

Yup, it might fit, but I believe I have to bend/cut a little(by the looks of my own). I'll find out by the end of the week!

Well, I just fitted it and it works great!

I didn't have to modify it at all. But remember that you should have some proper airflow going over it. I'm so lucky that my radiator fans are blowing over it, so it stays cool enough.

I don't have a camera available at the moment, I'll see what I can find.
It's a tight fit though, it's touching the graphic card a tad
