hey guys,

i just orderd some new 5.1 speakers (creative , cant remember the model) and i wanted some surround sound headphones for gaming at night. has to have a mic and i wasnt sure about the mic with this set, could any body shed some light on the subject?

also if anybody knows of any better headsets for around £30 stereo or surround i would be greatful if you could let me know
 
STAY AWAY FROM THOSE ZALMAN ONES I HAD THEM AND THEY WERE ATRCOIOUS!! ESPECIALLY FOR MUSIC!!

Dont bother with those 5.1 sets get a decent set of headphones ;)
 
yea i agree, 5.1 headphone sets just don't work imo. Just get a decent normal set and leave the surround sound to your speaker system
 
Afraid I have to agree with the above, I found the Zalmans fairly horrible. The Medusas were better but still not good sound quality (just good enough for gaming though) and neither set had convincing surround sound.
 
i went with ** advice and got some logitech ones - big mistake too lol

the mic stoped working the second time i used em, kinda lucky really coz they were pritty uncomfertable

got em from the "major highstreet competitor" (not that one lol)

would u secomend and one inperticular ?
 
To be fair the above advice was get some decent stereo headphones, not some logitechs. Sennheiser do headsets.
