Zappp .. what do i do ?

I turned the plug on at the wall this morning for my PC and when i did.. Fizzz.. it made a funny noise. And now it turn on at all ? Any ideas? I have tried another kettle lead thing and that didnt work so dont think its the Fuse.. Is it the power supply and can they go without me even turning the PC on at the front?

Any advice would be great as ill have to get a new one today as i need it for some work this bank-holiday.

Current still runs through PC even when not turned on at the case switch, so yep the PSU was live as soon as you flipped the plug switch.

Try a different wall socket. Are there any LEDs lit on the motherboard?

there are LEDS on the mobo.. and none of them are lit.. i have tried another wall socket and ..still nothing.. my bet is the PSU or mobo then
