Just announced. Apparently has Wind Waker style graphics.

11:29 AM PDT- Iwata explains how even grandmothers loves the DS, and talks about Tetris DS and New Super Mario Bros.. Audience claps upon seeing Mario. A new Zelda game is revealed for the DS, but uses an engine similar to Wind Waker. It has touch-screen gameplay, cel-shaded graphics, anthe game has a puzzle formula where what you draw on the bottom screen reflects to the top. The game is officially called The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

It's only been news for 45 minutes. Give it some time

I've heard that the bottom screen is where all the action will take place and be very touch interactive. The top screen will be for maps but also puzzles reflecting the action below.

It could be 3d from looking at those pics, in it a Metal Gear Solid way. A third person game wouldn't work too well on the DS IMO.

Yeah just finished downloading the trailer. Nintendo's servers are going at like 9kbs so it took a while.

It looks absolutely stunning. It is most definately 3d but with some very sensible camera angles and some ingenious features.

Custom map notes are cool and the puzzles are bound to rock.

I don't think they've said. Could be a while going by Nintendo's track record.

Twighlight Princess is due for August 25th isn't it? Or has it been delayed again?

Perhaps Christmas time for Zelda DS? That's probably wishful thinking though.

I wonder if there will be some sort of Revolution connectivity.
