As title really ive just sat down to play this on my new 3ds (zelda edition) i bought. Like it says in the title i have never played it before, even though i used to have a n64:eek:
Anyway im really enjoying it, ive just done my first dungeon after getting my sword and shield and talking to the deku tree. And then i was blown away by Hyrule field it just looked amazing, i cant imagine what i would have felt like when i was a kid and played it.
Anyway i thought i'd make a post about it to entice some of you who havent played it before to get it, seriously just buy it. Ive only played 2 zelda games and that was the very first one on the nes and the one on the gamecube, wind waker.
Ive read many threads and other online sites saying this is the best one ever. I guess i shall soon find out.
Ill post in here if i get truly stuck or if theres something awesome that i got to share with you guys.
The music is great aswell, and the 3d compliments this game perfectly:D
Anyway on my way to Hyrule Castle:cool:

I started a game of Majora's Mask yesterday. I can't remember much about it though, I'm scared to leave the town as I seem to remember the swamp area sucks.

Update:
I had to stop playing due the battery getting low and i got to go work soon:(
Anyway i managed to get into Hyrule Castle and see the princess. I was given my first melody, which im sure will have some use? Anyway i had to go to a village i cant remember the name. But i had a look around, and threw some chickens over a fence for this lady. I couldnt find 3 of them as im not sure how to reach them, so ill come back later.
I then get told by the guard to go and get a hyrule shield that he will give me a discount on, also pick up a mask for his son. Then the fairy told me to go back to the forest to impress this elf. So now ive just saved it at lost forest, and i cant wait to play.

Best game on the N64 by a distance. I might have to pick up a 3ds at some point to play this again. Although the shot of the 3ds I had (brief shot) I found it made my eyes feel very strange, although I noted you can adjust the level of 3d so perhpas it was set too high for me.

Same as OP I've never played OoT before but got the Zelda 3DS 2 days ago, its been good up to now, but I'm not playing it with 3D on

TBH it's better with 3D off, as you get AA then and it makes it look soo much better.

Loved playing wind waker, but had to cheat to get all of the final items (stars or w/e they were, was 15 or so at the time!)

Wind Waker is actually one of my fave Zelda's, currently replaying it atm my kids love watching it, the art style has really aged well.

I have the Ocarina of Time on 3DS, and I like picking it up every now and then and having a play. I really wish (as I'm sure we all do) that I could go and play it for the first time again, after it had just been released. I do view games like this with nostalgia tinted glasses, but it was just incredible. ;)

I agree that the game looks better with the 3D turned off, but I just feel like I should play with it on because I have a 3DS. :D
