Zen Broadband Speed Problem?

I just switched over from Tiscali/Pipex/TalkTalk Whoever they were, kept changing companies etc.

Anyway, they were terrible and I really couldn't afford the dropouts or fluctuations in speed as I use the internet for work etc.

Anywaysss... I decided to switch over to Zen and my activation date was today, all went well... re-configured my router and I was on.

However! I am now only getting 2Mbps. I used to get 6Mbps. Anyone know why this is?

Do you think it's still because of the breaking in period if you like, It's supposed to take 10 days or something is it not?

However i'm starting to doubt this theory, any other issues it could be?

Sounds like your bras profile has reset... maybe because you switched isp's but i really don't know regarding that.

I am with Zen and have had no problems with speed, pretty much max speed on my line 24/7 although i am on the office package and in a rural area so contention is low.

Leave it for a few days and see if your speed increases, i think it probably will but leave your router alone and don't keep rebooting it or you will delay the process.
