Zen internet any good?

My mum is on part fibre BT broadband at the moment, does this mean that the other providers potentially won't be able to fulfil their installation or do Cityfibre run on different cables?

Openreach is Openreach, City Fibre is City Fibre. They run their own networks.

You can use https://bidb.uk/ to check what's available at your address, however Openreach seem to have stopped showing up on it so use their own checker.

Thanks, think i'm going to sign up with Zen 500Mb with landline for £40 a month.

I've logged into BT and it's showing as my mum should have a Smart hub 2 and she's actually still got the old Smart Hub type A. So time to 'bin em off'
 
I'm still with Zen. They are a good company. With their recent new packages, they are better value now.
If you want to go ahead an join them, contact one of the people on the forum who are with them already, they still offer shopping vouchers for recommendations.
