Hey all

Looking at getting a new MP3 player, but cant decide between the Zen 60gb, Zune 30gb, or iPod 80gb.

Obviously the extra space on the ipod is a big plus, but having to use itunes will suck. Not really heard much about the Zen or Zune, but I really like the clicker wheel on the ipod so do they have them?

Ipod.

You dont need to use iTunes, almost every main player can load songs onto an ipod now

Ditto but I use iTunes anyway.

What's the issue with iTunes that makes you think it sucks?
If it is about iTunes "reorganise" your file system because AFAIK you can turn it off and still play music from your "My Music" folder or what have you.

But yea, I'm using an iPod Nano 2nd gen, satisfy my needs for long battery life, easy sync, small/sleek and decently priced (got it off the bay at £120 for 8GB, hint! Shop Around...)

I used to have a 30g Zen and am picking up my 60g Zen tomorrow and I can see the drag and drop facility is as easy as it gets, the video capability is second to none.

Nice one, managed to get an iPod 80gb video for £160 inc delivery

Its 6th gen apparently, thought there were only 5. Though all the ones on the bay say that now.

Anyways found this cool software called Anapod meant to be really good for managing your iPod. Gonna buy that when I get my pod

So the zens u can just drag and drop ? no need for software ?

I've just installed my 60G Vision M and installed the Zencast software, that's all, just drop and drag now, via Explorer.

Do you drag and drop from Explorer into the Zencast software or onto a drive in Explorer?

Ive an Ipod 80gig , and use Anapod (uses explorer) and cucsoft ipod dvd convertor works like a charm.
