ZenDAC V2 failed?

My ZenDAC V2 seems to have crapped out. The speaker output on the back is just outputting thin, garbled, compressed noisy crap? Headphone output is ok, so I'm using that for now.

Anyone seen this before? I've just stuck the latest firmware on it, no improvement.

Have you tried a different cable or turning it up slowly from zero volume

I don’t know what was up with it, but it seems to be working fine on my Mac which I’ve just switched to. Will try it in my PC tomorrow and see if it has issues stuff. At least it,s not hardware.

Sometimes reinstalling the drivers help too or changing the usb port
