Switched from 10/13 clear tubing to 10/16 ZMT with satin fittings.

Oh and changed from a DDC to a D5

What's the verdict?

Hmm opinions subjective obviously but I quite like the look of it originally. Any reason why you went with zmt? Or were your original tubing staining?

Acquired the D5 cheaply and wanted to use it so that started it off. Just wanted to give it a go with the ZMT as liked the look of it.

Looks good but the hose from the gpu to pump spoils it with that massive bend.

Interesting. Partly a result of the EK terminal adapter which only has the one inlet point so the inlet tube has to cross over the outlet tube. I suppose the alternative would be to go 90-90 out of the gpu towards the pump.

Cant see the pics.

Incidentally, same here... I can right copy the link address and paste it into a browser but your images always appear as errors on this page.. thought you may like to know seeing as you go to the bother of posting them!

not had dual GPU before so not familiar with these Parallel blocks, but even then, are they dedicated inlet and outlet or universal? If the latter, may be tidier if you connect the CPU outlet to the left side of the GPU and then a right angle connector ffrom the GPU to the pump?

actually ignore what i said, further looking at the loop looks like pump > GPU > CPU > Rad > RAD > Pump. I thought it was pump > Rad > RAD > CPU > GPU > Pump. Hard to tell which one was inlet/outlet of the pump.

In that case, a 90degree and 45degree connector fitted to the GPU back to the pump looks tider, that way it curves around the GPU outlet

Looks good, I quite like the black and silver, but how is it zero maintenance, does it not just hide the maintenance. :p

The idea behind ZMT as far as I can tell is that it's designed to last for years. It doesn't leech plasticizer as typical computer tubing does and of course it can't discolour. It's basically automotive grade tubing.

Dual gpu is not greatly different from single except that you explicitly are told to only go in the top left and out the top right or bottom right. With a standard gpu block it's "ok" to go through it in reverse although not advised.

I like. Size of the ZMT suits the case better. Previous was a bit thin.
Thought about using white coolant?

Hmm, I hadn't but I see how that could work. Mind you, this rig sits behind my TV and isn't ever used except by Folding@Home :) I only changed the tubes over because I was bored.

I use red coolant by the way because it's very easy to see a leak. Same concept for blood :D
