zero performance increase with sli 970

hi i just got my second 970 today to run it in sli, its all set up as it should be from the nvidia control panel but yet when i play bf4 im not getting any performance increase plus im getting some stutters . would anyone have any ideas why this could be? i have my i7 2600k overclocked to 4.7 so i doubt the cpu is a bottleneck.

i also ran heaven benchmark and i have been getting a performance increase on that.

my vram isnt going over 3.5 so that cant be the issue lol

Did you reinstall nVidia drivers after adding 2nd card (it should update SLI profiles for games) ?

just done that and its working now thanks im still getting a bit of stuttering but i guess that is to be expected with sli?

Have you enabled gsync in both parts of the control panel after installing drivers again ?

I run SLI and a ROG Swift monitor and I have no issues at all. I have not played BF4 in a while mind but the last time I did, it was sweet. Try a different or several different games, just to make sure that Dice haven't "fixed" something, as I have seen a few threads of late complaining about BF4.

Best way to confirm G-sync is running (on the swift) is seeing if the power led goes red, if it's white then it isn't

yeah light is red

Try disable g-sync and see if it fixes anything? Not sure about BF4, but I've had two recent games which present issues of black flickering (not to be mistaken with g-sync flickering when FPS tanks) in both Diablo 3 (which has no problem maintaining 144FPS, but this could be a Blizzard thing as G-sync has a weird quirk in WoW too when hovering over tool tips) and Grey Goo (newish RTS game, admittedly I haven't tried it since launch so could be fixed by now).

Might not do anything, but worth eliminating variables all the same
