Zero Sievert describes itself as a single player extraction shooter. It's every bit as brutal as Tarkov, borrowing heavily from the lore and style & so far, it's been a lot of fun!

Is anyone else playing?

I had a quick bash at this earlier. Great idea overall but some glaring issues imo. Cover system is poor, you're basically fully exposed or not (and difficult to do on 2d i'd imagine.) The AI are basically instant aimbots lol, be I'm told they can be easily killed from range though.

I persevered on this as it's getting a lot of praise. Haven't changed my opinion on the issues, but will say that once you get better at dealing with them (as mentioned, use range to scout ahead), the game becomes extremely fun.

Glad to hear you've stuck with it for a bit. It's definitely unforgiving at the start, but you soon learn how to better your chances.

I'm nearly 20 hours in and chomping through the missions in search of ever better loot.. Feels familiar!

Took a punt on this as I was craving something with stalker vibes.
Glad I did, I'm really enjoying it. Difficult enough to provide a good challenge and feel rewarding. At first I think I was dying 9/10 times, but as I learned the mechanics of the game that has improved greatly. If I'm dying now its usually because I am pushing my luck or rushing into situations.
Little gem of a game, just wish the level load times were shorter...
