its to zip into a ski style coat outer. the buttons are for fastening it when not using said outer.
or maybe youve just got it on inside out ?
Try crossing your arms over when zipping up/unzipping.
American jackets often have the zip the other way round, my m65 army surplus jacket does as well as one from Hollister.
I've had zips on both sides and can't say it ever made me go "how weird" - however, now I come to think of it, most of my jackets have had the zip on the left hand side, however it never struck odd to have them on the other side either. Yay for being ambidextrous I guess?!![]()

Am I alone in wondering why people wear these, seems like it's to wear on top of a coat / jacket.
What about your arms man! Don't they get cold?
However, staying on topic, yes you are a girl

In your case its because you are a metro.
You actually spoke to them about your zip being on the wrong side?
If that was the main reason for the phonecall - LOL.
i went into the GAP store in merry hill on saturday. there was literally nothing of any worth in the place. you deserve praise for actually finding something worth buying. i have no idea how you will be able to spend £70 of vouchers in the place.
I just had a zip replaced on a jacket and the silly bint put the new zip on the wrong side.
