Have a feeling at least my bank transfer's got screwed up :( So paypal here we come if it doesn't come through, need to throw some extra on now anyway after getting paid :D
 
To everyone choosing to use Paypal/Nochex over transfers, you do know that Transfers are free, and Paypal/Nochex take a cut of the money, right?
 
Personally planning, if the bank transfer screws up, on donating the extra that I know would cover my donation ;) Should work shouldn't it?
 
Absolutely, I just can't really understand why someone would choose Paypal/Nochex over online/telephone banking. The former charges and the latter doesn't, but they're as easy as each other.

Well I'm hoping bank transfer will work but first time trying so if it doesn't, paypal's my last resort.

But yeah bank transfer is the most cost effective way to go :D

I can Paypal money I don't yet have as it comes off my credit card. Useful when waiting to get paid by cheque.

I chose paypal because I had money sitting in the account I hadnt touched for ages.... easier than withdrawing it and then transferring it tbh

I used paypal as apparantly I have "the wrong kind of account" for online xfers , its a normal current account AFIAK , muppet bank :mad:

I used NoChex and didn't get charged a penny?

Been a while since i've used it and remember a 99p charge for anytime i've used it.....Used it frequently over the past week and haven't been charged once....Either the charge is dropped or some summer special is running :p :D

Just always remember getting charged 99p anytime i sent money and wondered why i never got charged on these occasions

Had another hundred through via transfer. This is how it stands (the numbers are rounded to the nearest 5)

Bank account: £295
Nochex: £65
Paypal: £145

So the running total atm is FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS.

This puts us back on target for what we were sort of hoping to get.

Funnily enough though, the most notice of payment I got before setting this up was via snail mail, and I've not had one mail about sending a cheque/postal order yet.

PS. Kenny, Nochex and Paypal take 2.5% IIRC
 
Dont see how you could screw up a bank transfer especially if its done over the phone?? :confused: only way i can see that happening is if you give the wrong details out but then thats your fault for being a muppet :p

Anyways £500 :eek: not bad, im sending over another transfer Gilly....will email you asap.
 
Zoltan has been to the hospital today for a check up

He has got to go back tomorrow and wednesday for radiotharepy on is skull to relieve pressure on his nerves that control his mouth and face so he can eat properly
