I just finished reading World War Z and Roadside picnic and have Day to Day Armageddon on the way.
Anyone have other recomendations? Day to day will take a while to get here so i need something else.

Ive always read D&D books before and have enjoyed moving away from them, was also thinking about reading some Warhammer 40k books but dont know where to start.

Have you read the Zombie survival guide, also by Max Brooks?
Kinda set before World War Z, still a very good read

Hi, I'm new

Being a big fan of all things Zombie...

World War Z is a fantastic book but also...

Monster Island series
Plague of the Dead (The Morningstar Strain)

Are also recommended reading.

As for WH40K books, I used to read the 'Dark Future' books, and they were pretty good even if the writing style was a bit immature.

Blood Crazy by Simon Clark, Superb Zombie book set in England. Bit daft at parts but all Zombie books are.

To me books fall into two categories ones that make you fall asleep or ones that make you sit up way later than intended, this book is is the latter.

Zombie School by R. L. Stine

It's hard to get in to Ranewash Boarding School - and impossible to get out! If you take science, you may get a transmitter implanted in your skin. In gym class, you'll be climbing ropes to escape piranhas. And don't even think about checking out the detention hall!

Who needs a book Urban Dead/ rocks, a simple little http MMPOG game with a cool little community wiki.

When your not fighting the hords in a realy over-run city (been going since 2005) your reading all the wikipages. Zombi groups, band of survivors, deathists (surviors who kill survivors to free them from the sin of life), playe killers, bounty hunters and many many more. Hold up in a mall, barricade yourself in a cop shop just don't fall asleep out doors as you will get munched and reborn as the dead!!!

Play it the way you want, no NPCs so your allways playing with people.

Go solo or defend a more and be part of folklaw history ( some of the mall siges invole thousands of player, you really fell like your in a film and being over whelmed)

I recommend reading up some of the guides on the wiki first to get the best gaming experience. The survivors are getting hammered so more humans are needed to help turn the tide.

With Firefox an the UDtoolbar plug in the interface is a little jazzed up.

If your a Zombi fan like me you don't need gfx as I have seen almost every good and naff/foreign zombie flickgoing so my mind fils in the gfx far better than any game could. It really is an interactive book which is constantly changed on community sugestions following votes.

not been playing it long but I LOVE IT

My profile if you join and want to add me, trying to get a group together to help defend the Lamport Hills suburb (game has 100 suburbs all with 100 blocks)

I used to play Urban dead till it got blocked. Was ideal for those long boring night shifts.
Ill have to get back into it at home i think.

I downloaded 'Autumn' (free from thr authors site) and read it in two nights, very good book. Need more free books to read at work!

Notice how all the new zombie movies & books describe zombieism as the result of an infection? 'Twas not always thus.

28 Days Later set the agenda, and still dominates the genre. Just look at the first few chapters of Autumn.
