it looks great!
only thing that I would have done differently is making sure that all the "lines" on the carbon fibre covers are parallel. but that's just me.
curious to see what it looks like with the red switches

They will swoop from left to right on the front once they are all fitted.

The switches are only available from Hong Kong atm. That seems to be the only place to get anodized coloured ones..

It's all still far from finished tbh.

Im curious as to how you made/fitted the hdd bay cover, (looks fantastic). As the shinobi xl i have is identical internally i wouldnt mind trying something like this.

Very easy. I have six hard drives in there (one laptop 320gb drive for downloads).

So all I did was cut an acrylic panel to fit, then put some double sided 3m foam tape on the top drive and the bottom drive, it holds in place :)

IE - if you fit a drive to the top slot and the bottom one you can simply fasten the plate onto them using some double sided foam tape.

Ah, simple but effective. I currently only have two drives installed. One hdd and an ssd. But if i swap the ssd from the top slot for the hdd, im sure i have old dead drives lying about, one of which could go in the bottom. Nice tidy internals too Andy, i like the red and black theme. Ill be doing something similair but will be short term in the xl as im changing cases soon to a phateks of some sort.

I'm going to box in the PSU and improve the intake for the GPU. The PSU box will highly likey contain two 120mm fans blowing air up to the GPU :)

I'm also boxing in the 5.25 bay too. None of these mods are expensive tbh. Acrylic sheet is £6 inc for a A3 sheet and I got my back plates (for the 7990, Killer NIC *and* Revodrive) out of that as well as the button panel plate. Dinoc is 99p inc for an A4 sheet, I've probably used six or so thus far.

It's a lot of work, mind, but well worth it.
