Hi,
Can anyone pls help? Everytime Windows desktop loads a pop up appears titled Zone Alarm security options, giving me the options to click -

'Tell me more' and the other is 'No thanks' - I have clicked both, but this still pops up EVERY time the computer is booted up.

Is there any way to get rid of this message? I'm using Vista.

Presumably you have it installed, perhaps the freeware and its nagging you to upgrade? Not much hope of getting rid unless you buy it or uninstall it in favour of something good.

Its saying there is a new version and is asking you to upgrade to that.

Its not nagging you to pay for anything, just download the latest version, install it and then the screen doesnt pop up again.

When you clicked "Tell me more", it should have opened up a browser window that takes you to the Zonealrm site to download the latest version.

just remove it, zonealarm is shocking and creates more problems that it prevents

if you must use a software firewall, then use comodo http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/

a router should be enough for any user that knows what they're doing and doesn't open random exe's etc
